Shooting is a very tricky skill to develop. As far as your shooting form, that is completely dependent on each person. Things such as footwork and release point can be different for each person. The most important key item to develop your shooting is repetitions. If you ever want to be a great shooter, shooting daily is necessary. Some coaches like to say shoot 300 shots a day (that is difficult to do, especially without a rebounder), but I like to keep it simple and say shoot everyday. Even if you’re just doing form shooting near the rim for 10 minutes a day and shooting 3 times a week, that is better than only shooting three times a week.
